INT. ANCELOTTI'S HOUSE - EVENING
There's two forensic scientists that go by the names Jeremy and Emily present at the crime scene. They are both dressed with an office shirt and some work pants with a lab coat each. They open up their briefcase, start to put on some gloves, turn on their flashlights.
INT. BREAK ROOM - DAY
Benjamin Black and Samuel Jenkins are shown doing interviews separately to try and explain every single step in their journey to solve the weird case being shown soon. Ben orders the interviewer to get him a beer which shows his attitude while Sam is quite nice and cooperative. This interview has a few seconds between each scene every now and then.
EXT. WITNESS'S HOUSE - DAY
Two detectives Benjamin Black and Samuel Jenkins arrive at a crime scene to meet up with the off duty cop that found the body and the witness. The patrol cop gives Ben and Sam the details of the crime and the findings of the forensics team. Ben hears about the name of the poison used in the murder and goes off on his own search for tracing back the steps of the victim according to how long ago he would've had to have been injected. He noticed something weird when he saw a gutter that wasn't there before. Meanwhile Sam started looking for neighbors to question about any possible sighting that they might have had.
EXT. PARK - DAY
A suspicious man in a suit and a mask is seen to be reading a newspaper on the park bench. The newspaper is shown with proper zoom in and focus shifting as it holds key details for the story. The man gets up and walks away.
INT. BEN'S HOUSE - DAY
Ben wakes up from a horrifying dream in a very surprised manner. Sam mocks him for staying asleep this late and the bell rings. Sam opens the door and at the door is Lucy. Lucy is a high-level hacker who has access to almost every single federal database of the world, she also has a crush on Ben. Ben and Sam put their findings together and figure out the number plate of the car that most probably belonged to the suspect. They use Lucy's skills to find the name of the person who the car belonged to as well as his address.
EXT. ANCELLOTTI'S HOUSE - EVENING
Ben and Sam arrive at their suspect Ancelotti's house and are preparing to breach the house. They haven't yet confirmed if he's on site which is the reason they haven't called it in. They go to the door and knock while peeking through the door hole. After the door hasn't been opened for a while they kick it in and run into the two detectives from the first scene. Everyone has guns on everyone.
INT. BREAK ROOM - DAY
The scene is not resolved and we come back to the break room interview where we leave the short film at a cliffhanger.
